We as a community we own our Well, Pump House, Storage Tank, Pipes and Meters. We are responsible for maintaining, repairing and upgrading our system.
Green Spaces:
A buffer between our housing development's, homes and streets. It is our responsibility to manage and maintain theses areas.
Country Meadows HOA is a community of 25 Single Family homes, Green Space and Community Water System.
HOA Board Members are Volunteers with families and full-time careers please be patient with us.
Our current HOA Board Members took over an HOA that had barley been maintaining its obligations. As many of the original members moved on the new Board was not passed on vital information about our obligations and Water System. We are working hard to correct this. We work with Kitsap PUD 1 to manage and maintain our Community Water System and Quality.
For the privacy of our Board Members there is no specific details about them on this site. If you would like to meet us please join us at an HOA & Water Meeting or email us.
This is our Community Pump House where our water quality is maintained. This system was put in in 1982 making it 43 yrs old. As we all know over time things age and need to be maintained or replaced. At this time we do have some repairs that require attention.
There is a Seal that needs to be replaced and a Crack in the Storage Tank that KPUD 1 repaired 5 years ago but needs further repair.
We have a Generator however it dose not start and is in need of repair or to be replaced.
As a Community We all Own the Pump House, Storage Tank and Pipes that run under the roads however each home owner Owns and is responsible for the pipes that run from the Meter at the street to your Home.
If you don't know where the water shut off and meter is at the street please contact us so we can help uncover it for you
Country Meadows Community HOA & Water owns several Green Spaces in our community. It is our responsibility to manage and maintain these areas.
The Green Space along Closer Dr. NW is a Bio-Swell or Water Shed used to collect water from our ditches allowing it to filter naturally to the Aquifer that supplies our Community Water System. This system requires minimal maintenance by allowing nature to do some of the work for us. We still have to regularly have our water tested for contaminates and pathogens once the water enters our system.
**Please remember that if you don't want to drink it don't put it in our ditches.
Please be kind and remember that we all moved out of town to live the way we want to.
More to be added later.
