Water main break on 4/29/25

Do to a lack of maintenance we had a Float switch failure resulting in the well not refilling our water reservoir.

How was this fixed?

PUD 1 was notified and they came out to asses the situation. They found a switch failure that we believe happened a few days earlier.  PUD 1 replaced the faulty switch and brought our system back on line. It took several hours to fill the water storage tank so we could all have water again.

Country Meadows HOA &Water owns all of the pipes under the road and the home owner owns the pipes from the meter to your house. KPUD 1 can only help us to stop major situations and help us to find a new company to manage and repair our system. Please remember that if PUD 1 comes out Country Meadows HOA & Water are paying the bill. 

**KPUD 1 is a public service office and it is illegal to threaten or harass a public servant.. They can and will call police if residents cant be respectful. 

If you have a rental in this community please pass this information on to your tenants. If your tenants are having a problem with the water they need to contact the Home owner whom than contacts Country Meadows HOA and Water who will then contact PUD 1. 

Country Meadows HOA & Water is trying to find a new company to help manage our water for us and at that time KPUD 1 will no be involved in our system.

** Water Leak Update!!     

Thursday 5/8/25 @ 10am - 5pm  KPUD 1 will shut off the water for repairs to the broken water main.   Country Meadows HOA & Water has hired a sub contractor to do the repairs please do not call KPUD1.

AS a result of our water system failure last week we have found a water leak. KPUD has been notified. They were on site Friday to asses the situation. It is there opinion that we could wait until Monday to have this addressed however they will not be the ones to do the repair. KPUD 1 will help us to find a company that can fix the leak.

2 trees have to be removed to safely dig up the water main to expose the broken pipes. If you live on Odyssey CT NW you water may be turned off for several hours to do the repairs.  If you find a water leak please notify Country Meadows HOA & Water so we can asses the situation and get it corrected asap.
